The standard frame we offer for the Bernard Ratzer Plan of the City of New York is a 2" moulding called "Eos", a very subtle mix of silvery, bronze, verdigris and weathered teak tones that perfectly complement the colours of the print, and is very suitable in formally decorated surroundings as well as more casual environs - please see the corner detail below:

We use picture framing quality lexan rather than glass for glazing the frame, even though it is more expensive and harder to work with, because it is much more suitable for shipping, and is much lighter and safer to hang for such a large piece (36" x 47" framed).  We do not normally mat this piece as it is already  large and, with the engraved border, a mat is really superfluous.  However, if you would prefer it matted, do call us and we would be delighted to discuss the options and prepare a quotation.

The price framed in "Eos" (our favourite) is $595 (includes the pair of prints of course, as well as packing and handling and standard shipping in the contiguous US)

A traditional gilt moulding is also available for $575 (includes the pair of prints of course, as well as packing and handling and standard shipping in the contiguous US)
